Laura Raymond, program coordinator, from the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) in Washington D.C. recently visited Shawnee State University’s Center for International Programs and Activities (CIPA). Promising undergraduates from several countries in Eurasia and Central Asia have received the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program fellowship (Global UGRAD) administered by IREX, a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State and studied at SSU for one academic year.
