Authorities say three of four people arrested by the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force are responsible for thousands of Oxycodone pills being distributed in Scioto County.
Yvonda K. Padgett, 35, of Dutch Ridge Road, Portsmouth; Trista Brocato, 29, of Boren Boulevard, Wheelersburg and Joshua A. Bradshaw, 29, of Dogwood Ridge Road, Wheelersburg, were indicted on a total of 24 drug-related offenses, including engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and aggravated trafficking in Oxycodone, both felonies of the first degree. Also arrested was Luther Caudill, III, 50, of 18th Street, Portsmouth, indicted on a total of five felony drug-related offenses, including trafficking in heroin, a first degree felony, possession of heroin, a second degree felony and tampering with evidence, a third degree felony.
Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. The case against Padgett, Brocato, and Bradshaw allege that the three individuals along with others were responsible for the distribution of thousands of Oxycodone pills into Scioto County.
Additional arrests are forthcoming in the case.
Padgett, Brocato, Bradshaw, and Caudill III were placed in the Scioto County Jail and are awaiting arraignment in Scioto County Common Pleas Court.
