Letter to the Editor:

Dear Clay Township Citizens,

They are Universal and Long Run in Rubyville and Orm Cemetery in Rosemount. I need the attention of all Clay Township citizens. These cemeteries are owned by citizens of Clay Township, and the trusties are concerned about them, and voted to put a levy on the May 4th Ballot to correct a lot of problems that the cemeteries have. I will mention several of these problems.

• Several monuments are sinking and are turned over and need to be set up properly.

• Fences are rusted and need to be replaced.

• Gates need to be put up.

• Some walls need to be replaced that secure some burial lots.

• Roads need to be upgraded.

• These cemeteries need to be brought up to meet state code.

We can go along way to fix these problems by voting for the levy on Tuesday, May 4. Those that have loved ones buried or own lots in one of the cemeteries should go out and vote for the levy on May 4. Call your friends and neighbors to join you as well as all Clay Township voters. Our loved ones deserve no less.

Please vote for the cemetery levy on Tuesday, May 4.

Sincerely,

Bob Locher
