*Community of Christ 2237 Russell Avenue West Portsmouth will begin the 10:30 AM Morning Worship Service on Sunday December 13 as the youth of the congregation present their annual Christmas Cantata with Elder Kim Green leading the program. Priest Wayne Allen will develop the weekly World Church theme of “Proclaim the Good News” with the Advent emphasis on JOY. Elder Carol McGraw will preside over the musical selections and after the Christmas Cantata the youth will be preparing a special surprise for the congregation. No activity on Wednesday eve December 16. West Portsmouth Community of Christ will hold their annual Candlelight Christmas Eve Service on Thursday December 24 beginning at 6 PM.

Sunday, December 13, 10 a.m. – Bible Discovery – There is a class for all ages from Nursery through Adult. Sunday, December 13, 11 a.m. – Worship Encounter with Pastor Art bringing the message from God’s Word. An interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing is available at all services. The children are dismissed during the offering for their worship encounter. Following this morning’s service, LCM ministries will be holding its annual fundraiser dinner. Prices are $6 for adults.
