Columbia Gas begins pipeline relocation project in Greenup County


Columbia Gas of Kentucky will begin work on a pipeline relocation project in Greenup County on Feb. 1.

Columbia Gas contractor C.J. Hughes will relocate a gas line that serves Bridges Christian Church on Kenwood Drive/Kentucky Route 1093 to accommodate a storm sewer connection project. Work on the pipeline relocation is expected to be complete this spring.

Work will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. No service interruptions are expected, but there may be traffic delays during this project.

All company and contract employees have photo identification badges identifying them as Columbia Gas employees or contractors. Customers are welcome to ask for an ID before allowing anyone into their home or can call (800) 432-9345 for Columbia Gas employee verification.
