American Lung Association Helping Patients with COPD Live Well

More than 12 million Americans have been diagnosed with COPD, and an estimated 12 million more Americans are living with the disease without even knowing it. If you’re one of those suffering, the American Lung Association can help you breathe easier.

Join the American Lung Association in a one-hour online presentation on Tuesday, February 23 to hear from a panel of experts discussing the actions one can take to make living with COPD easier and address common COPD management questions.

You will have the opportunity to hear experts talk about topics such as: managing side effects, preventing exacerbations, medication management and coping with the emotional burden of the disease. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion of the webinar.

At the end of this webinar, attendees should be able to:

1. Identify what they can do on daily basis to successfully manage their COPD.

2. Understand the stigma associated with COPD and identify strategies for coping with it.

3. Recognize the American Lung Association’s educational and support resources available for those

living with COPD.

If you or a loved one are living with COPD, join the webinar on Tuesday, February 23 at 3pm EST for answers and support. Register today and submit your questions to be answered live during the call. After registration, you will receive an email with a link to view the webinar in your web browser on the specified date. Please contact Carly Ornstein at carly.ornstein@lung.org.
