PPL programs the week of August 31- September 5


Annual Labor Day Booksale!

The annual Labor Day booksale will be on Friday, September 4 from 10am –

6pm and Saturday, September 5 from 10am – 5pm at the Portsmouth location.

There will be hundreds of donated/discarded childrens, teen and adult

books for sale! Hardback books will be priced at $1 and paperbacks for 50¢

each.

Parade Day Kids Activities at the Library:

On Saturday, September 5, from 10am – 2pm, the Portsmouth location will

have many activities planned in the Youth Services Department for children

prior to the start of the parade. Simple crafts, cartoons and games will

be available for children to keep them entertained while waiting for the

parade.

Thursday, September 3 – Build It Lego! at 4pm at South Webster

Tween Programs (ages 8-12):

Thursday, September 3 – Design a Homework Caddy at 4pm – Local History

Young Adult Programs:

Tuesday, September 1 – Teen Halloween Painting at 5:30pm at Wheelersburg.

(Registration required.)

Friday, September 4 – The Price is Right! at 4:30pm at New Boston

(Registration required)

Adult Programs:

Tuesday, September 1 – Yoga at 10am at Portsmouth

Wednesday, September 2 – Antenna Topper Program at 4:30pm at New Boston

Thursday, September 3 – Learn to Crochet at 10:30am (Registration

required)

Computer Instruction Class – Class requires registration

Tuesday, September 1 – Computer Basics for Seniors at 3pm

Wednesday, September 2 – Minecraft Gaming from 3-5pm

Thursday, September 3 – Devices for ebooks (ereaders, tablets, phones) at 4pm
