The Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities (SCBDD) Transportation Department spent the day, Oct. 24, sharing information and training students on rules for bus safety and evacuation processes. Students watched skits and actual evacuations take place to learn more about the importance of quick response and safe practices. Three students were also presented certificates for heroism for their part in helping students evacuate safely after a recent bus accident. Gabby Collins, Athena Herles and Michael Kirkendall all received awards for their bravery.
