On Tuesday, July 15, 2014, Compass Community Health Care Center will partner with area agencies to host a free health screening at The Potter’s House Ministries Food Pantry, located in Sciotoville. In addition to blood pressure, total cholesterol, and blood sugar screenings by Compass healthcare practitioners, representatives from Compass Pediatric Occupation Therapy, AAA7, AppaPhil, and the OSU Extension Office will be on hand with health-related activities and information.
The Potter’s House Ministries is a faith-based organization dedicated to helping local families by providing a free food pantry and connections to other faith-based and social aid programs. They offer services such as free tax preparation, signing people up for Medicaid, HEAP, Ohio Benefit Bank and the Affordable Care Act.
Compass Community Health Care Center invites the public to attend this free health screening on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 5409 Winchester Ave, Sciotoville. In addition to the screening, there will be activities for adults and children, giveaways and more.
