Area Gas Prices Up a Dime

South Central Ohio gas prices rose 10 cents to $3.71 a gallon this week, according to AAA East Central.On the National FrontToday’s national average price at the pump is $3.64 per gallon. This is six cents more expensive than one week ago, 13 cents more than one month ago, and 12 cents more per gallon than the same date last year.

Bible quiz playoff scheduled at Northwest High School

Quiz teams from 24 churches have been involved in Bible quizzes in four locations during the winter. Top teams from all four locations will participated Friday, May 9 in an Olympic Quiz playoff at the Northwest High School Gymnasium.
