Bob Cooper recently returns from international karate competition in Dublin Ireland with a bronze medal in forms. Cooper competed in the men’s 35 and over black belt division. This was the 16th Irish Cup competition in Dublin with 10 countries and over 500 competitors . Cooper was a member of this years A.K.J.U.’s “Team America” The team traveled to Barcelona Spain for a couple days of site seeing before competing in Dublin. Cooper is from Portsmouth and trains at Bender Karate Academy in West Portsmouth. He plans to go to the World Games qualifier next year.
