The Junior High Volleyball Teams from Valley and Wheelersburg come together to support a fundraising activity to support the Tom and Angela Vallance family. Tom Vallance is an employee of the Valley Local School District and former employee of Wheelersburg Local School District. The daughters of Tom and Angela are students of the Wheelersburg Local School District and daughter Samantha is on the 8th grade volleyball team at Wheelersburg. Angela Vallance is battling cervical cancer and every three weeks she and a companion travels to Chicago for chemotherapy. The team members of both squads held bake sales, raffles, t-shirt sales of “Hope Cancer Shirts”. The two teams combined raised a total of $2,439.92.
