Girls Book Club
Join us at the Portsmouth library location January 14 at 5:30pm the first Girls Book Club meeting of 2013. This month’s book selection is Heidi by Johanna Spyri. Come and join the fun as we create a craft related to the book, offer a snack, and watch the movie. Ages 7-12 years.
Snow flake Party
Children under 12 are invited to the New Boston library location January 14 at 6pm for crafts and games. For more information, call the New Boston Library at 456-4412.
Scrabble Tile Jewelry
Choose to make anything you like from scrabble letters; A bracelet, necklace, ring or have an interesting keychain. Program will be held in Copley Room of the Portsmouth library location January 17 at 4pm. Call 354-5304 or visit Local History to register. Ages 8-12.
Free grab bag snowman ballerina craft
Free grab bag snowman ballerina crafts will be available kids of all ages all day January 17 at the South Webster library location. For more information, call 778-2122.
Board Game Buffet: Game On!
Children will be able to select from a variety of board games to play with their friends on January 17 from 3-4pm. Games include Scrabble, Candyland, Checkers, Chess, and much more. Ages 6-12 years.
Winter Fun
Chill out at the Lucasville library location for some wintertime fun January 19 at 2pm! Children will enjoy making a cool craft and playing some fun indoor games. Ages 11 and under.

Upcoming Adult/Teen Activities Announced
By-The-Bag-Booksale!
During the month of January, PPL will be offering a $5.00-a-bag book sale. Patrons will be able to purchase a bag for $5 and then fill it with as many booksale items they can fit into the bag (items must fit in the bag).The purchase of a $5 bag, also includes 1 magazine box. All items are sold as is and no refunds will be given for items that do not play or are damaged. This special sale will be offered through January 31.
Yoga
The Portsmouth Public Library will be hosting its Yoga group at 10am in the Copley Meeting Room on Tuesday, January 15.
Inspirational Book Group
The inspirational book group will be meeting January 15th at 12pm at the Portsmouth library location. We are always looking for more people to join the interesting discussions we have about books.
Scrapbook Party
The South Webster Branch will be hosting a Scrapbooking class from 6-7 p.m. Those attending will be learning the art of scrapbooking. Space is limited. A fee of $5 will be charged to cover the cost of materials. Pre-registration is required. For more information, call the South Webster Library at 778-2122.
Knit & Stitch
If you would like to learn to Knit or share your talent of Knitting with others, this group is for you. Join us at the Wheelersburg library location January 15 at 6pm. (This is an Adult Program)
Paint Strip Calendar Craft
