On August 22, Dr. Murray and staff hosted our 2nd Annual Dentistry From The Heart event, which is a free day of dentistry for anyone who needs it. As a growing number of Americans lack dental insurance, we felt this was a great way to address the problem and give back to our community.
I wanted to take the time to thank you for donating the article in the paper for our patients. It really meant a lot to us that you were willing to help us out for our 2nd annual event.
We had two dentists, three hygienists, seven dental assistants and many more volunteers that day to help us.
We worked from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
We saw 110 patients and provided almost $33,000 worth of treatment for free.
We were able to see everyone that stood in line that day.
Life Ambulance cooked hotdogs on the grill for all of the patients and The Water Shop donated bottles of water for all of our patients. We had a wonderful day and helped so many people that were in desperate need of dental treatment!
