Shawnee State University opened the second International Forum meeting on Friday, Sept. 14 to give an opportunity for international students to represent their countries. Many of the GLOBAL UGRAD students are at SSU for one semester. The Center for International Programs and Activities Director Rita Haider, left, who sponsors the program, encourages international students to talk about their home countries. Angie Robles Letion, right, a student in the GLOBAL UGRAD program, dressed in her country’s traditional dress, talked about the geographical position, culture and national features of her home country Costa Rica.
