Randall W. Craycraft, formerly of Stout, Ohio, and 1999 graduate of Portsmouth West High School, recently was promoted to the position of General Manager, AOL Entertainment, overseeing AOL Music and Moviefone. Since joining AOL in 2011, Craycraft focused his efforts on launching AOL Industry, the company’s trade media division comprised of AOL Energy, AOL Defense, and AOL Government where he built a best-in-class set of products that is unique to trade media. He also created the Social Alert Network, AOL’s internal initiative that elevates localized emergency alerts across the Internet. Prior to joining AOL, Craycraft worked for NBC Universal—working his way up the ranks from an intern on The Today Show to a founding senior producer in NBC’s Digital Innovation division. He has a Digital Design degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s degree in Television, Radio, and Film from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School—where he was awarded the Gordon J. Alderman Award for Creativity in Broadcast. Randall also sits on the Board of Directors for the Astoria Performing Arts Center, and is a passionate fundraiser for Breast Cancer awareness.
Randall is the son of the late Gail L. Craycraft and Richard Craycraft of Stout and grandson of the late Raldo & Betty Keller of Rosemount and Bill & Ruth Craycraft of Friendship.
