Members of Cody Groves All American Karate Dojo competition team recently returned from the American Karate & Ju-jitsu Union's Tri-state Karate & Ju-jitsu Championship. This tournament was a qualifier for international travel. The tournament was open to all Martial Arts styles and is in its 30th year.

The competition was held at the Cabell Midland High School, in Ona, West Virginia.

Whitney Steiner returned from the tournament with 3nd in weapons and 4rd in open hand forms. Anthony Toms returned with 1st in fighting.
