Dear Editor,

The Kiwanis Club of East Greenup County, Ky., would like to thank the sponsors and participants of the 33rd annual Run By The River. It was the best ever.

We are grateful for each of the 251 runners who circled our 5K and 10K courses, and to our 25 sponsors. At the end of the day we raised more money for Kiwanis civic projects than ever.

Next year’s Run By The River is set for Saturday, June 11, 2011, and will feature changes in age categories at both ends of the scale. Next year trophies will be offered to runners 9 and under and 10-14. At the senior level an 80-plus category has been added and special awards offered.
